Project-of-Hope
We are a registered non-for-profit charitable organisation. Our purpose is to assist children with special needs and disabilities in Somaliland, giving them a basic education and the tools they need to live with dignity.
Below, you can view the footage filmed in Hargeisa, depicting many many special needs children. They are lining up hoping to receive some basic treatment. None of them are scholarised because the adequate structure does not exist.
Project of Hope has started many years ago and has officially been registered since 2005. The major activities have been the elaboration of this project, fundraising activities and building relationship with stakeholders.
Thanks to all our generous donators and volunteers we have been able to acquire (register) a site in Hargeisa, design the architectural plan of the school and have started construction of the buildings, water reservoir, borehole... (click here to view the progress)
